Moving a household out of the Memorial Park area starts with the truck. Lots in Rice Military, Camp Logan and Crestwood are compact compared to the suburbs, and many townhome rows share driveways. A full-size long-haul truck may need to stage on a cross street, so we scout loading spots during the estimate and plan the crew around a longer carry if needed. I-10 forms the northern edge of the park and is the usual route out of town.
Many homes here are newer townhouses with living space on upper floors, so a long-distance load often means bringing everything down two or three flights. Full packing saves time on these jobs because boxes are ready to move as soon as the crew arrives. We also take apart beds, desks and tables, label the hardware and reassemble each piece at your new home, wherever in the continental U.S. that is.

Usually, yes, but it may need to park on a nearby street. Inner-loop lots are tight and shared driveways are common in Rice Military and Camp Logan. We check access during the estimate and plan for a longer carry when needed. Long carries are never billed as an extra.
We walk through your home in person or by video, list what is moving and any specialty items, and give you a flat rate. Once you confirm, that number is locked. A 15% deposit holds the date, and payment is collected after delivery and the final walkthrough.
On most long-distance jobs, no. We run a dedicated single-truck move, so your belongings stay on one truck with one crew from pickup to delivery. They are not transferred between trucks or stored in a third-party warehouse on the way.
