Leaving or landing here
River Oaks households often hold the kinds of things that make a long move harder: original art, antiques, grand pianos, wine collections and heavy custom furniture. Our long distance movers in River Oaks, TX custom-crate and pad-wrap fragile art and antiques, and a specialty crew handles pianos and slate pool tables with advance notice. Building that list early lets us size the truck and plan the load before the first box is taped.
Getting a full-size truck in and out is its own step. The neighborhood's streets are residential and lined with trees, and River Oaks Property Owners looks after the planted esplanades. We decide in advance where the truck will sit, how long the carry is, and whether a smaller shuttle vehicle makes more sense than squeezing a tractor-trailer past mature oaks on a narrow block.
Timing matters as much as packing. Families zoned to River Oaks Elementary, Lanier Middle or Lamar High often move in early summer, which is also our busiest stretch from May through August. Houston's hurricane season overlaps that window. If a storm or hurricane warning makes loading unsafe, we reschedule at no fee, and a confirmed flat rate stays locked.
