Uptown apartment and condo towers come with elevator bookings, insurance paperwork and tight loading windows. We handle that coordination so your move into or out of a Galleria high-rise stays on schedule.

Tower logistics
The Galleria area has been adding residential towers since the 1980s, from the twin 40-story Four Leaf Towers on San Felipe, designed by Cesar Pelli in 1982, to the roughly 30-story mid-rises that went up in the late 1990s and newer luxury apartment buildings along Post Oak Boulevard. Most offer concierge service, pools and fitness centers, and most share one or two service elevators among hundreds of units. That is why move-ins are scheduled rather than first come, first served.
Before quoting, we ask for your building's move policy. Typical items include the allowed move hours, whether weekends are permitted, the length of an elevator reservation, any refundable move deposit and the exact certificate wording. We also ask whether the loading area is in a garage with a height limit, since a full-size truck may need to park at a street-level dock instead. Getting those answers early keeps the crew from waiting in the lobby.
Curbside parking is limited on Post Oak Boulevard because the METRORapid Silver Line runs in dedicated median lanes there. Towers along San Felipe, Westheimer and Uptown Park Boulevard each have their own access quirks, so we confirm the approach in advance. Inside the unit, we pack fragile kitchen items, wall art and glass tabletops in proper cartons, and we take apart larger beds and shelving so they fit the elevator cab.
FAQ's
Questions we hear most from Galleria-area apartment and condo residents.
Yes. Certificates of insurance for high-rises and managed buildings are provided on request at no extra cost. Forward the building's sample certificate or requirements, including the additional insured names and address, and we will return a matching COI before your move date so the front desk has it on file.
We plan the crew size around that window. A larger crew moves more per elevator trip, and packing ahead of time cuts loading time. Tell us your reservation length during the estimate and we will recommend a crew that fits it.
It depends on the garage clearance. Many residential garages are too low for a full-size moving truck, so we often use a street-level dock or loading zone instead. We confirm the access point with building management in advance.
Yes. Small apartments are welcome, and the hourly local rate means you pay for actual time. A deposit equal to the two-hour minimum holds your date, and it is fully refundable with 48 or more hours' notice.
Yes. For interstate moves we are licensed under USDOT 4264678 and MC1655284. Long-distance moves are quoted at a flat rate, and on most jobs the same crew that loads your apartment delivers it. See our long-distance page for details.
