One team, every move
Know the village
Creekside Park is the last of The Woodlands' villages to be built out. Development started in 2006 and the first home went up in 2007, so much of the housing stock is fairly new construction from builders such as David Weekley, Toll Brothers and Village Builders. Unlike most of The Woodlands, the village sits in unincorporated Harris County rather than Montgomery County, and residents vote in both Township and Harris County elections. For a move, that mostly affects paperwork: your county services point to Harris County, while your street still follows Township rules.
Kuykendahl Road and Gosling Road are the main north-south routes through the village, with Woodlands Parkway on the north side and the Grand Parkway (SH 99) giving access toward I-45. The Creekside Park Village Center sits in the median of the divided stretch of Kuykendahl, anchored by an H-E-B, so shoppers and turn lanes are part of the picture on a busy Saturday. We plan the truck's approach so the driver reaches your street without awkward turnarounds in a long box truck.
The village was designed around green space: more than 1,850 acres of parkland, the 72-acre Lake Paloma with its linear park, Rob Fleming Park and Aquatic Center, and direct access to the 1,700-acre George Mitchell Nature Preserve. Homes fall under The Woodlands' residential covenants, administered by the Township, and the Creekside Park Residential Design Review Committee reviews exterior changes. Those covenants limit how long trailers and similar items can sit on a street, so a rented trailer should not stay parked for days.
FAQ's
Answers to the questions Creekside Park residents ask most before booking a move.
Both, in different ways. Creekside Park is a village of The Woodlands, governed by The Woodlands Township and its covenants, but it lies in unincorporated Harris County. Residents vote in Township and Harris County elections, and students are zoned to Tomball ISD. For your move, Township covenant rules apply on your street, while county matters run through Harris County.
We handle local moves within the village and across north Houston, long-distance moves anywhere in the continental U.S., and commercial and office relocations. Packing, storage and specialty items such as pianos, gun safes and gym equipment are available too, and furniture disassembly and reassembly come standard with no extra fee.
A moving truck on loading day is normal. The covenants target longer stays: trailers, boats and similar items cannot sit on a street or visible lot for 48 consecutive hours or more, and parking on lawns is prohibited. Our crews load and leave the same day and keep the truck on pavement. Ask the Township about anything specific to your neighborhood.
Aim for at least one week ahead. May through August and the last weekend of each month fill fastest, and holiday weekends need three or more weeks of notice. Mid-week, mid-month dates usually have the most openings. If you are on a tight timeline, call anyway, because we fit in last-minute moves when the schedule allows.
Yes. Tera Moving holds USDOT 4264678 and MC1655284 for interstate work and Texas TxDMV #010277202C, and the company is insured and bonded. Released Value Protection at $0.60 per pound per item is included free, and Full Value Protection is available at an added cost if you want more coverage.
Yes. New-construction closings can slip, so we offer overnight, week-long and month-to-month storage. We can pick up from your current home, store everything, and deliver to Creekside Park once the builder hands over the keys, which saves you from renting a unit and hauling it twice.
Thank you for considering us for your moving needs. We will get back to you during normal business hours.
