Grogan's Mill has a broad range of housing, from townhomes and early 1970s houses to custom rebuilds and estate homes in neighborhoods such as Wilding Estates and Grogan's Point. That variety means no two local moves here look alike. We look at access, stairs, the furniture list and whether anything needs crating before quoting, then pick the crew and truck size to match.
The village's mature pine and oak canopy is beautiful but can complicate truck placement. Township standards keep vehicles off lawns, ditches and open space, and owners are expected to keep limbs trimmed 14 feet over the street. Before move day, we check for low branches over the driveway and decide where the truck can park on pavement without blocking neighbors. Near Sawmill Park, Tamarac Park and the Millbend Loop Linear Park, crews also keep sidewalks and pathways clear for walkers.
Cleanup follows Township rules. Carts go out by 7 a.m. on collection day and back out of sight by the end of that day. Grogan's Mill has its monthly cardboard collection on select Fridays, which needs scheduling with Waste Management at least two business days ahead; boxes must be flattened, tied and stacked beside the carts. Packing paper goes in the yellow-lid recycling cart, while foam and packing peanuts are not accepted with the cardboard.

Yes. Grogan's Mill has housing from townhomes to estates, and we handle all of it. Smaller moves need fewer movers and a smaller truck, which keeps the hourly total down. Stairs inside a townhome are never billed as an extra.
Usually, if branches clear the truck. We check during the walkthrough. Where limbs hang low, we park on the street instead, since Township standards prohibit parking on lawns and unpaved areas. Long carries from the street are not charged extra.
Fit what you can into the recycling cart once flattened. For larger amounts, book the free monthly cardboard collection, held on select Fridays for Grogan's Mill, at least two business days ahead through Waste Management. Stack and tie the boxes beside your carts by 7 a.m.
Yes. Local moves cover The Woodlands, Spring, Tomball and the rest of greater Houston on the same hourly model. If you are leaving Texas, ask about our long-distance service, which uses a flat rate instead of hourly billing.
Crews keep working in normal rain using floor protectors, shrink-wrap and waterproof pads. Under the tree cover in Grogan's Mill, wet leaves and pine needles get tracked in easily, so runners stay down at every entry. We reschedule only for unsafe conditions such as thunderstorms, with no fee.
